just a quick survey.
will the aussie millions main event have more than 675 players this year?

im curious because last year there were 760 players, just wondering why the estimation for the number of players has dropped to below 675.

credit crisis.

And isn't one of the major sites not sending their pro's, because of a conflicting event?

THink it will hit 700.

Full tilt is not sending pros due to sponsorship fallout. But 50 players from one site vs 5 players from 10 sites. Should even it out.

Not to mention a lot of the OS players are coming because they enjoy the event. Antonius, Ivey, dURRR, and a few others are all planned. So should be an interesting turnoout.

Not to mention 2mil guaranteed for 1st.

As for it conflicting with the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure. Some of the pro's, will be here in time for the 2nd week of the Millions.

I think this is a good move by Crown to cut ties with Full Tilt, as it can finally see if this event can stand on its own. Also with Pokerstars launching the ANZPT, might make it one of the key events.

Either way good for poker.

Do realise novelty betting is ridiculous Dakota.

I would be more inclined to spend the next three months on the baseball.
So when the games start up, pick up the easy dollars.

Especially 8 games a day, 6 teams usually win it easy.

PLus the million dollar cash game will also attract some big game players. Wouldn't be half suprised to see a few more veterans be here.

:D only a small 1, maybe 100. 675 runners is the mark.

and yes brett u can make a shiiit load on baseball.
but the multi bets are killers.

I'm only playing poker this year though. new years resolution.
I figure this bet is poker related. lol
