Well not really, i finished 30th in a tourney that began with 1467.
Only problem was it was a $1 tourney and i cashed for $4.11.
YAY - that was 4 and a half hours well spent. Not quite $1 per hour.

Bankroll management vs time spent vs payout is obviously not your strength macca needs more advice I suggest you refer to your TD?Regional Operator Todd Rivers on these matters.

Well Done.
Even though its only small its a start.
Keep going and with careful bank management you balance should grow and you can increase the stakes.
The satisfaction of just finishing in the money is just cause
Remember you have just outlasted over 1000 players

i knew i shouldnt have posted
10 minutes late and i crash out in 79th place lol.
First hand after the break i am big blind (1600) i have [as 10s] with 30k in chips.
Only the small blind limps so i pop it to 6k
small blind goes all in for his 25k.
He had been doing this a lot and when called not showing especially strong cards so, i decided now was my time. A win now would put me in the top 5 of chips so i call.
He shows [ks 7s]
Nice call me but i knew what was comming
[4d 5s kc] [qh 7h]
sometimes you just got to get lucky.
oh well nearly trippled my buy in so better than loosing.

He made the right call. ATs isn't the best hand to put it all in on (I thought the same as you steve after I read the HH) but Krunch trusted his read. He knew that SB was laggy, and shoving on a wide range. He has a lower Ace crushed (don't see SB limping with a better one). He thought he was ahead, and he was. Is that not the right call?
And who cares if he posted it? We should be encouraging people posting hands like this, so what if they shove all in on A6s, or whatever. Coaching is welcome, no one is going to be ridiculed for posting a less than stellar move - and no one should feel like they are.
End rant.

Aaron i meant he shouldnt of posted it because everytime someone does they seem to be gone in quick time
more of a bad luck thing
the reason i think it was the wrong call to make was he could of picked a better spot down the track to put all his money in, to work that hard to get that far in the tourney i dont wanna risk it on a coin flip, wow he was 60/40 or whatever it is, not giving me the best of odds
