I made the pre-flop all-in call... other guy had jammed with the A6o.

I just knew someone was gonna say something about JJ. But JJ is gold when you look at these guys ranges.

Just looking at the chip spread and also the blinds.
You did have the opportunity to fold. He has jammed before you, out of position.

Could have picked a better spot. Depending on how quickly the payouts were levelling out also.

What hand range did you have him on, or even Pokertracker VPIP PFR%?

put him on desperation range, any ace, any pair due to being 10xBB

did not have his stats cause my pt3 hud seems to be broken

we are both at 10xbb and desperate for chips, pay-out structure is skewed heavily to top 3

cashed for $530... and what better way to lose it:

I think calling him a moron is a bit harsh there OG.

You min raise pre, he's in the BB and will more than likely call once more there is another caller. Six to one on his pot odds there.

You bet half pot on the flop, which can seem to be a weak continuation or value bet. But noone cares about the action on the flop anymore so calling here with any part of the board is fairly solid poker at 1/2 and then let's go to the turn and see what happens then.

Here he hits two pair and you overbet the pot, something that says to most players that I am marginal or strong at this stage but don't want to see a river. At this stage your opponent has hit two pair and is probably riding your range at AQ - AA (Strong) or possible monster draws flush and straight or it might cross his mind with mid set as you min raised (the thing I like about min raise from early position is that against some opponents it really broadens your range and it is almost impossible for an opponent to put you on a definitive hand with any type of board). He has the nuts as far as he is concerned and will try and get his chips in.

Either way he is not folding there and you are either re raising or flatting any raise. The river kills you though as noone is folding here, either way your chips were going into the pot.

Unlucky man, but that's why we love poker.
