Personally i 100% disagree with this statement. Lets think of top level players. The players considered to be the best all have an in depth knowledge of the mathematics surrounding the game, but those considered truly great players are the ones that can read emotions, body language and put players to the toughest decisions at the right times. This type of "game sense" cannot be taught, and i agree that it is about experience, but online experience does not develop this skill.
Winning online poker is MUCH simpler than live poker IMO. Especially with programs like PT and HEM. The decisions you make in a live environment are made under MUCH more pressure. Online players are certainly very skilled, but i would rather play Ivey online than live any day of the week...
