NPL State Final @ Port Club - Final 4, run 88 on the button into SB's AA.

Berri Deepstack 2: 15/191, knocked out an hour into day 2 when my 8 high flush is crushed by Tim Bredl's 9 high flush.

888PL Foundation semi-final: Final 4 - After some pre-flop action, I open from the SB for 190k on a 6 7 8 board, with 99. Get a reasonably quick call from villain for his remaining ~180k. He rolls A7, turns the 7. I'm left SS and bust the next hand.

888PL Grand Final: Day 2, draw the feature table, but less than a dozen hands in, disaster. I open for 16.5K from the cut-off (2k/4k/500) with AA. Button folds, SB calls, BB mucks. Flop comes down Q 9 4 rainbow. Villain leads for 20k, I re-pop it to 72k all-in. He snap calls, and rolls 88. Turn 8. Brick river. Hmmm.

I finally hit one last night!

i got 60k, villian 36k

my 10 - 10 vs his Q-10 all-in pre

Flop Q,7,3 Turn 6 river 10 - yyeesss!!!!!

Im getting closer to a big cash again.
Last night/this morning i played in $750k guaranteed.
First time in ages ive been able to get time for a big tourny.
Signed in and realised i was using missus account not mine (great start!)after buying in, so i thought id play like her!

When i busted out my stats were 298 hands dealt, showdowns 9 out of 10, won 11 hands without showdown, saw 6% of flops!!!

The one showdown i lost was when i busted.

Had 143k and villain had 150k, blinds were 6000/12000 and he raises 3xBB and i shove with QQ, he times forever and calls with K,J off and hits a 4 card flush with his J.

Im out in 115th out of 4500 and cashed for $970.

I was running so good too.

When i say i was running good, it must have had something to do with using the missus' account, because i was on serious tilt the night before after getting 3 outered or 1 outered in about 10 tournies in a row ($12 180 turbos) and losing $300 in 5 mins in PLO (which is normally my cash cow!).

Im telling ya benny the cunt, you put the mozz on me after i replied to your post, because everything you descibed happenned to me TIMES 10!

I saved my hand histories if anyone wants a look, its friggin incredible - i was 80% or better fav EVERY time i got my money in!

But i just laughed it off and embraced the variance of Poker!
