i would choose 1

at least then the guy deserves my chips.

Yeah I see that point...
I meant if I was actually good enough to make WSOP ME FT, I wouldnt like to be outplayed... And of course we learn from being outplayed, I just wouldnt want to be taken to school in this situation. Think Id rather get eliminated having played well, and just got unlucky once or twice.
But of course, if i won, Id like to think it was because I outplayed my opponents, not cos i won the right flips... ;)

My answer was pretty specific for Garth's question, ie at a WSOP ME FT, not the local $1/$2 game, or something similar.
I didnt mean to imply you werent able to learn from mistakes Krunchie, just as I said, ME FT isnt the place you wanna be learnin them is it?
and 4 isnt crap, its poker... it happens...
Image ...11.59% of bad beat stories are just misplayed hands ...

Option 4.

It'll make for a good topic in hand discussion.

Would you fold pre here ever?

Have you watched this final table Jo? It's pretty much gut wrenching and if you have you will know why I ask that question.

And to be honest most good players will only ever ship one in twenty to fifty tournaments so you experience being eliminated more often than winning, so it's also a self analysis question.

No, haven't watched it (I will though). But really, is the way you go out on the FT of the WSOP really gonna make you feel better about the fact that you were that close to being World Champ??

Your question was the question I was asking, and to be quite honest, yes the way I get eliminated from a tournament means a lot to me and would mean even more on the FT of a major event especially the WSOP ME.

I suggest you watch the FT to fully comprehend what I am talking about, it makes even more of an impact when you watch the whole series in one day and go on the journey with these guys from start to stop.

See I look at it that I would never want to go out by being outplayed or commiting my chips with the worst hand, but the thought of been sucked out on when I am a four to 1 favourite is just terrifying in my mind.

Although in saying the above, I have had a big hand on a major FT when my AA vs JJ with 5 left and he hits a J to leave me with 2 BB's and crippled. That was a funny hand, and by then I was exhausted, very pleased with my effort and I was like "meh, that's poker, I've ran so good all tournament and haven't made one mistake, so I guess the only way they were going to beat me was that they needed to get lucky!"
