and you thought our bad beat threads were bad.
here are some quotes from this forum

"You're extremely unlucky in that case, as triple A's after the flop with pocket A's in your hand is going to hold up to alot of the time even with someone else having another triple card combo"

"Thats Pokerstars for you dude.... Impossible rivers/bad beats/incredible calls etc etc
Its not rigged or anything so you keep pumping money into it though..
Believe me, 'stars drove me mad and have retired (temporarily) from internet poker!"

"Pocket aces can be tricky, getting players to pre-fold is sometimes best. I think I've lost 2 of the last 3 times I had the pocket rockets. I usually like to just go all in preflop, but if the pot is small, I might just try to draw a few players, then go all in on the turn."

They used to. Was quite healthy, then started slowly going downhill. Once they changed forums off their servers and used Pokernetwork or pokernews as their new forum, kept getting a lot of abuse. So they shut it down.

Still haven't seen them produce a new one, but definitely would be interested to see what their players are saying. The teams it produced definitely created a good bond between players and represented the league well. However they burned them a fair bit. See Tim Horan and Pokernews cup for more of what happened, the bosses couldn't keep up with the evolution of the product and felt that they still could control it. And lost a lot of respect in the process.

i have signed up, and i am going to troll. anyone with me?

i think ill start a topic "why is 888pl so much better than this crap?"

I joined the forum to see if I could offer my criticism so they could improve - then I realized that I couldn't be bothered so I never posted :)
Pity because it was so close and I met a couple of locals.
Please note that I am NOT the World Champ, Australian Champ, SA champ or even the Adelaide Hills champ so any advice I give must be taken with tonne of salt :P
