as someone that was on my table for a huge amount of time, do you have any constructive criticism about my game? if you would rather keep your reads to yourself that is fine, but as someone that i dont know and hadn't played with too often in a live setting, i would love feedback

Your play was great. Just concentrate on your breathing when bluffing as I could tell that you almost stopped breathing and your heart was going a hundred miles an hour. That was when you bluffed the AJ on the river against Janet. I would love some constructive criticism also as I seem to be going backwards with my play lately and want to start moving forward.

thankyou. you are dead right about that hand though, now that you mention it, i almost did stop breathing! and i could feel the vein in my neck pulsing madly :)

i would say that you played pretty well, but probably need to work on your aggression a bit more. the only time i saw you raise was when you had a monster hand, and i was quick to get out of there. i think you can focus on spots when you are in late position and it is folded to you, or only 1 or 2 limpers, these are the times where being aggressive with any 2 cards is a good idea. if you can take some pots down preflop, it pads your stack so you can do damage with really strong hands, and it also makes it hard for people to put you on a hand. doing this every time is obviously a bad idea, but picking spots to get easy chips is a good way to build your chip stack.

but in general, i thought you played very well - the whole table did really (with the possible exception of janet who was a bit too aggressive i think). i found it really hard to get chips from anyone, which meant i really had to concentrate, and that was really fun and challenging.

thankyou very much for your feedback!

Thanks benny the cunt I really respect your advice. I really struggle with aggression especially on my live play and I know it is an area I need to work on. I also know I am easy to read and that is another area I am trying to work on not so successfully yet but like most poker players I am a work in progress :D

He was over the other side of the table, and he seemed fairly tight, but whenever I was in a pot with him, I found it really really hard to put him on a range. It was lucky he wasn’t sitting around near me, as I think I would have had a lot of trouble.
Kevin is very difficult to put on a range. Very tight, very solid, hard to read.

He took down the high rollers recently.

i got the impression that he was very tight, but i couldn't help but think that he was actually looser than that. but whenever i thought about 3betting him i couldn't bring myself to do it. thats the mark of a good player i guess

Well done benny the cunt. You've got it nailed. His image seems to be super-tight but it's not always the case.

I can continually read and beat Kev. But only in Omaha. NL is still a struggle for me.

In NL he switches gears quite subtly. And he's very aware of his image too. Very difficult, especialy for players without preivous experience against him.

the problem was, he was over the other side of the table. so there were times where i thought he was making a move, but he was either in early position so i inherently gave him more respect, or i was OOP myself, so i decided it wasn't the time to be playing back at him.

consequently i mostly stayed out of his way. there was one time where i remember someone announcing on the microphone that two previous big tournament winners were involved in a pot, but i cant remember the details
