any plans for this down the track in SA??

Another question, why is the legislation so different from state to state? I realise that these laws are state and not federally created, but why are they different in the first place?

You answered your question in your statement.

State legislation is just that, legislation created from state to state; commercial decisions, infrastructure, power brokers, community efforts and demographics, financial impact and status and whether the in power government is conservative or not and a lot of other things all impact on the development of state based legislation as it is moulded throughout the years.

It will take time, but they will get there eventually. Especially if they license it and take their rake.

Two poker leagues in town.
Burswood sucks.

In terms of gambling of non Tab varieties it is all Burswood. Pokermachines aren't your typical slots, more like your random pachinko machines a la Japan.

As for poker at burswood, loose as, Scary 5 people going into flops worth about 15. So find your hand and gun it down. Think i played an hour and was up 80. Was a tad tipsy. Won 800 on one of the domino games.

Overall, IF you know where you are staying in Perth, give WAPL a try, they sound a lot better run than the opposition, THey do colour ups which takes longer than your traditional events but considering they have been running longer, expect the standards to be a bit higher than your regular pub game.

In Perth, things to do, Drink at Little Creatures, Drink at Subiaco, Drink at Hotels in Fremantely. Cottlesloe Hotel on the weekend. Um.... Could watch the football. Easy to travel around in.

Oh yeah, the highways have a speed limit of 60. Freaking annoying for a melbourner.

Brett.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH

Try the chips with aioli. Trust me, i started at little creatures, we went to a restaurant and started on bundy red and other beers,

By the time it was over, lets say i had made certain everyone knew where Karratha was and who was its bottleshop manager
