When is it ok to play J-2 suited????
Especially when not in position??

Really never.

There may be exceptional circumstances such as pinching, short stacked and priced in or going for the re steal.

But that's a really shite hand and too many players put too much value in ATC suited. The fact they are suited adds about 1% to your equity in the hand and the possibility of you winning with it.

I'm currently 3/9.

Garth: I thought it was 3%?

Run it if you want. Run 87s against AKos. Then run 87 os against AKos and AKs.

Pretty sure you won't see a 3% increase across these ranges.

Generally it is anywhere from 1 - 2% max, but I was also discussing equity in the hand and suited really doesn't have a huge impact on that.

Aaron can be 3% to win hand, and he will :)

PS - I'm railing you, so I give you 3 hands before you are out

Have never actually looked into it, just heard 3% quoted a lot from fellow poker players.

Well done Aaron :)

If anyone could see you last night, then see you play today, they would wonder how someone so retarded could do so well ;)
