No bad beats today.

I saw 2 flops in 6 hours.

NO WORD OF A LIE - coldest run of cards EVER!!

Pocket 7's third hand of the day and hit set on flop, stack went from 59 to 73.

THESE WERE THE FIRST/LAST POCKETS I SAW ALL DAY

No AK either suited or unsuited. This after getting AA,KK,QQx3,JJ x 2 and AK x3 on Friday - so it must have evened out!

The next flop i saw was 6 hours later when i was all-in.

I raised only four hands and never got called (AQ, AQ, AJ - i was getting desperate)

Nearly every hand had a 8-3, J-2, 10-2, 9-2, Q-3 type combination, just unplayable even for a bluff.

And so-so hands were raised or all-ined before i even got a bet out!

Still, my stack allowed me to be blinded out quite late.

I had 2 BB's left with 12 mins to go till a one hour break so i shoved with K-Js and ran into AK.

Finished 102/725 - cash started at 62 ($2500)

Got to play with a lot of pros during the weekend so it was a great experience.

GG Todd.

2BB? Why weren't you shoving earlier?

Blinds caught me by surprise somewhere within the structure. We paid 400 ante too early and for too long and even though i always knew my CSI.

I had 28k left at the 400/2000/4000 (ten handed) stage and KJ suited was the best hand i had seen in 3 hours!I never played KJ once on Friday (or AJs), so thats how bad my cards were, and how limited my spots were.

That's 7 BB's? Primal shoving spot IMO. Honestly, you should be shipping in a very wide range at 10BB's or less in any tournament.

Unlucky mate. I'm sorry I had to leave when I did. I was delirious by that stage anyway, not sure how much of a support rail I could have been. My 23 hour session has just wiped me, physically and mentally.

To top it off, I had the bloody port power team on my flight home!

For those of you wondering, I didn't play main event as I had a family thing I had to come back early for. I got home about 2 hours ago. I did pretty well over all in the cash games though.

Personal highlight:

Playing $5/$5 Dealers Choice ($25 Time/hour, No Rake $200-$1000 buy-in)
Games choices: PLH, PLO, PLO Hilo. We couldn't agree on a blind structure for stud games.

I ended up stacking Peter Aristidou (Australian Tourny regular) in PLO Hilo.

UTG raises to $20. 2 callers. I call from cut-off with [ac 3c 10h 9h]. Button, SB fold. Aristidou calls from BB.

Flop comes [qc jc 5h]. Aristdou bets pot ($105) with $170 behind. Folds to me. I have $400 odd. He seems weak to me. At best 2 pairs. Maybe a mini straight wrap. Either way I ship if I hit my outs. Such a strange lead-out bet.

I push. He calls and rolls 2 cards only. [qs jd]

Flop: [qc jc 5h]
Turn: [qc jc 5h] [4s]
River: [qc jc 5h] [4s] [2d]

Hello nuts. Ship it!

Todd just missed this hand, he left about 30 mins before, but Glyn saw it go down.

Now now, I know you were getting frustrated but there's no need for slander here. 92 is a prime hand for a shove. You'll flop the nuts! Promise. 8-)

The first thing I got out of that post was that you held [Ac][9h]. And no comments?

Sigh, that's so disappointing Caleb.

Not suited.

Edit: Didn't hurt my opinion on call pre-flop though.
