Hi Guys,
I really want to start working on this idea, what I need form players is an idea of areas you are unsure of or what you would like to learn about. If I just run a one day seminar what type of information would you like to learn about and at what level.

Re: Tournament Poker Boot Camps!
i think that if i was to attend a seminar, i would want it to be fairly advanced in nature.
when i say advanced, i mean advanced tactics that would be relevant to an NPL tournament, not little nuances. i.e bankroll management not relevant, cash games not relevant.
things like how to get a read on a really tough opponent (probably too vague) but u get the idea.
other people will have better ideas, my brain isnt plugged in yet this morning.
in spite of my comments about relevancy, i would like to know some tactics about other poker games, as i would like to get into omaha and stud more, but are unsure of anything but the most basic tactics.
wow, i really contradicted myself.

Garth, if you can include in this potential seminar an explanation on pot odds so that it doesn't go in one ear and out the other, that would be super! That being said, I do actually understand the concept (i would hope so by now!), i just can't seem to retain the information and make it make sense in my head and apply it when i'm at a table.
Yeah, numbers are not my strong point!

It is if you use your talents in a verbal form at the table - baffle the "two-syllable" people

Now there's an idea! I'll use lots of big words, confuse, baffle and bewilder them into making bad decisions, and then i'll run a seminar on it for those who wish to do as i do. I think i'll call it "Bewilderment 101"
