Think the best way is to break it up. Remember to go over the basics every once in while. Sit down with those people that you know that you can dominate. It also helps that you keep your confidence up, and in essence can take a shot against those people that seem to dominate you.

The other side of this coin. Is by sitting with the people that dominate you, you are really only gaining 1/3rd of their entire game plan. Being able to sit with them midway through a tourney when they are short, and deep stacked. and when they are at final table. Then you can understand the subtle differences in their game as an overall strategy.

In essence, it becomes more of a confidence/emotional management. Nothing disheartening than being beaten by the same 2 to 3 people at the beginning of the tournament. But if you go back, get confident with a chip stack. and then can start beating them later in the game, they become less threatening when you do sit down to play against them at the beginning.

Always strive to improve your game. Just have to remember to sometimes go back to where it all started and make certain that those fundamental skills are still polished.

This may help you against LAG's..... in summary

Do not play junk like them in a 'beat them at their own game' battle
Let them donk bet/bluff into you
Slowplaying on drawy boards has merit
Do not get upset when their play 'gets there'
May all your pain be champagne!

Thanks heaps everyone some really excellent advice there and some aspects I had not thought about. I love the game, 888 and the people I meet in venue and always have a laugh. Most of the time I am a sweet little old lady who enjoys some fun but I do have a hugely competitive side that wants to be constantly improving and I am always looking for ways to do this. Usually it is not that I want to crush my opponents (unless they are morons of course) which is probably a bad thing in poker but I do get frustrated easily at myself when I see myself playing less than my best. I am not the type to sit back and complain in most things I do preferring to be proactive and finding ways that I can improve sort of like an action plan. Each one of these posts has really helped me in revising my action plan drastically and we will see what this year brings.

Side note: If my posts sometimes seem a little bizzare at times or make no sense I apologize it is me just searching for the resources to get me on track to where I want to be. I thank each and everyone of you for helping this little old lady out :D
